Terms of Service
Effective date: May 4, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Olevo, a calm second opinion app for reviewing suspicious messages, calls, screenshots, photos of letters, and similar content for possible scam warning signs. Olevo is provided by Infral Labs LLC. The public Olevo website is hosted at olevo.app. Support is available at olevo@infrallabs.com.
By using Olevo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or service.
What Olevo Does
Olevo provides scam-awareness support through:
- Private Checks, which run on your device for pasted text and described phone calls using local scam-pattern rules.
- Detailed Reviews, which send the content you choose to check to the Olevo backend and to OpenAI for review.
- Plain-language verdicts, reasons, and suggested next steps.
- Optional saved history, notes, trusted contacts, and educational scam examples.
Olevo is an informational tool. It is not a fraud prevention guarantee, legal service, financial advisor, security service, emergency service, or substitute for contacting a trusted company, bank, government agency, law enforcement agency, or other qualified professional directly.
The app does not require a sign-in or named user account. It uses limited server-side anonymous service and quota records to manage sessions, usage, onboarding-demo usage, rate limits, and subscription entitlements. Those anonymous records are based on random technical identifiers rather than your name, email, or a traditional personal account.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for what you choose to submit to Olevo. Only submit content you have the right to share, and avoid sharing sensitive information unless it is necessary for the check.
You agree not to misuse Olevo, attempt to bypass usage limits, interfere with the service, reverse engineer service protections, submit unlawful content, or use Olevo to harm others.
Accuracy Limits
Olevo looks for common warning signs and known scam patterns, but it cannot catch every scam or confirm that something is definitely safe. Scammers change tactics often, and Detailed Reviews or Private Checks may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.
When money, account access, personal information, passwords, verification codes, legal threats, or urgent requests are involved, verify directly through a trusted contact method that you find independently.
Accounts, Anonymous Service Profiles, And Deletion
Olevo uses anonymous service profiles rather than traditional user accounts. The service profile supports secure Detailed Reviews, usage limits, abuse prevention, and subscription access.
You can delete your anonymous service profile in Settings. Deletion removes the active anonymous service profile and Detailed Review sessions. It does not remove local saved checked items, notes, trusted contacts, or preferences from your device, and it does not cancel Apple subscriptions. Limited quota and subscription records are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions And Payments
Olevo may offer Premium subscriptions through Apple in-app purchase, with entitlement handling supported by RevenueCat. Subscription terms, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple under Apple's payment terms.
Cancel subscriptions through Apple Subscriptions. Deleting the app or deleting your anonymous service profile does not cancel a subscription.
Premium access and Detailed Review limits are subject to the plan shown in the app and may include monthly usage limits. Private Checks for supported text and call inputs remain available without using Detailed Review quota.
Privacy
Olevo's Privacy Policy explains what the app and service collect, how Detailed Reviews are processed, how local data is stored, and what records are retained after service profile deletion. The Privacy Policy is available at olevo.app/privacy.
Availability And Changes
Olevo may change, pause, limit, or discontinue parts of the app or backend service. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, network issues, third-party providers, usage limits, or other causes.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Olevo after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law And Disputes
These Terms are intended to be governed by applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Until Infral Labs LLC designates a specific state and venue in an updated version of these Terms, any dispute arising out of or relating to Olevo that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States. If mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, this section does not limit those rights.
Disclaimers
Olevo is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infral Labs LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.
Olevo's results are informational and should not be treated as a definitive safety decision. You remain responsible for decisions you make after using the app.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infral Labs LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, fraud losses, financial losses, account losses, or security incidents arising from or related to use of Olevo.
