Visit OlevoA calm second opinion when something doesn’t feel right.
Check suspicious messages, calls, screenshots, and letters before you decide what to do.
How it works
01Check something
Paste a message, describe a call, bring in a screenshot, or photograph a letter. Start with the thing that made you pause.
02Choose the review
Private Checks are quick first looks for text and calls. Detailed Reviews look more closely and always ask first.
03Read the next step
See a plain verdict, short reasons, and what to do now. Likely Safe, Be Careful, or Likely a Scam - without the panic.
Trust stays visible
Detailed Reviews ask first. Private Checks stay on this device for supported text and calls. Local history stays local unless you clear it.
Saved checked items, notes, trusted contacts, and preferences are kept on your device. Olevo does not sell your information or read your messages automatically.
No blame. No rush. Just a clearer next step.
What it won't do
- Watch in the background. You decide what Olevo checks.
- Promise that something is safe. It shows warning signs and what to do next, not certainty.
- Replace direct verification. When it matters, use a phone number, website, or person you already trust.
"Olevo helps you think clearly when something feels off."
Common questions
What is Olevo?
Olevo is a calm second opinion when a message, call, screenshot, photo of a letter, or similar content does not feel right. It helps you check possible scam warning signs before you respond.
What can Olevo check?
Olevo is built for suspicious messages, calls, screenshots, and photos of letters or documents. You can paste text, describe a call, bring in a screenshot, or photograph a letter when that feels easier.
What is a Private Check?
Private Checks are quick first looks for pasted text and described calls. They use common warning signs and stay on your device.
What is a Detailed Review?
Detailed Reviews look more closely at the content you choose. Olevo asks before using secure AI analysis, and the review can return a verdict, reasons, what to do next, and extracted text for images when available.
What results does Olevo show?
Olevo returns plain-language verdicts: Likely Safe, Be Careful, or Likely a Scam. Each result shows short reasons, what to do now, and whether the check used a Private Check or Detailed Review.
Can I use a Private Check for a screenshot or photo?
Private Checks do not review images directly. Screenshots and photos use Detailed Review for the image itself. If you can read the words, you can paste or type them for a Private Check.
Does Olevo read my messages automatically?
No. Olevo only checks what you choose to provide. It is not a messaging app, does not monitor your inbox, and does not scan messages in the background.
Can Olevo confirm something is definitely safe?
No. Olevo looks for common warning signs, but it cannot catch every scam or make a final safety decision. When money, codes, account access, or urgency are involved, verify directly through a trusted contact method.
Where is my history stored?
Saved checked items, notes, trusted contacts, onboarding preferences, Detailed Review consent, and privacy settings stay on your device unless you clear them. Saved checked text is redacted where possible.
Does Olevo require an account?
Olevo does not require a sign-in or named user account. Detailed Reviews use anonymous service records for sessions, usage limits, abuse prevention, and subscription access.
Is Olevo free?
Private Checks for supported text and calls stay available. Detailed Reviews may include free checks and Premium options, with subscriptions handled through Apple in-app purchase.
